Plenty of reaction in the film thread.
I thought it was a great film myself. The Mrs is going back to watch with a friend.
Didn't go down great with the critics because some wanted the dark side of mercurys life (such as the story of his time in rio) but has been a smash with audiences.
Rightly so too. It's a brilliant film in terms of enjoyment.

The portrayals of Mercury and May were impressive.
As a film, I thought it was gash. Continuity and factual errors (and I'm not even a Queen expert) and appalling hubris were its defining traits. I didn't expect " the whole truth", but even so... Bag of self-serving shite. Want to celebrate Mercury's genius? Just watch a C5 documentary.
